Engine was rebuilt 2,000 miles ago, supposedly the supercharger was also rebuilt, but there is no boost from the supercharger, no whine acts like it is not working. Where should I check first, the coupler? Do the embellor blades have to be synchronized or a aligned? Do I need to remove the supercharger to check its operation. Found some of the vacuum lines not properly routed, corrected but no difference? Where do I start?

Hello,

It sounds like the super charger is not working if you do not hear the whine. The way to check it is to remove it and take it to a re builder so they can check the clearances.

You might be able to do it yourself if you don't mind making up a rigging to spin the blower and then have tape on the bottom to see if it will blow the tape off.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken
