I am putting back the SAM module but the plastic clip that holds the thick red wire, white in the corner, has broken off as it was difficult to remove. now, i can connect the red wire to the flat connector piece that goes deep into the bottom of the SAM module, but i don't want it to come off loose. Can i use super glue on it and then insert it and hold it util it's in space and not moving? Second pic shows the wire which goes in.

You can get a replacement connector and use a splice to fix it. I don't think glue will work because engine and road vibrations will make it come loose. You will need to get the pigtail from the dealer. Let me know how it goes.
