Sunroof not working?

2004 TOYOTA SEQUOIA
171,000 MILES • V8 • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

My sunroof motor works okay (I pulled it and operated it while disconnected from the regulator), but it won't actually move the sunroof when it's connected. It will try to move it when I push slide, but the gear only goes about 1/16 of a turn. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

So, the problem is the motor is weak or the slides needs to be serviced (WD40). Check out the images (below). Please let us know how it goes.
