sudden no start after installing a strobe light?

My brother-in-law was hooking up a strobe light on the vehicle listed above and after he connected it to the battery the car would not start. the remote start will not start the car either. The starter system problem, road department migration problem, adaptive cruise control problem, emissions system problems all flash across the screen. computer pulled up air flow sensor. We are at a loss. Please help.
