why does my car stop moving and the wheel locks, but it doesn't turn off? When i manually turn it off and turn it back on it moves perfectly fine? it does it when going over high railroad tracks or bad bumpy roads. the check engine light is on and so it the traction light.

It sounds like the car is going into limp mode or you have a bearing hub that is going out and activating the ABS system. We need to run the codes to see what's going on, please go over this guide and get back to me.

This will give us the codes needed to fix the problem without throwing needless parts at it.
