should the o2 sensor heat up when the key is in the on position

Hi there,

These are heated O2 sensors, if they are faulty the ECU will go to a full rich reading, this well may be your problem.

Which o2 sensor? The car has two. The front one is considered to be a a/f sensor but looks just like a o2 sensor. The other is after the turbo. Also the bov starts flowing air when I plug the vacuum line in
