My coolant reservoir is empty after a few days, and I always smell that sweet antifreeze burning smell whenever I drive. Sometimes there is steam coming out of the bottom of the engine.

I took the car into a mechanic and he put the pressure pump on the radiator cap opening, pumped it to the proper testing PSI and it tested great. No leaks.

The car never overheats, and the temp gauge never goes above the mid-line on the cluster.

All in all the car runs great. Good acceleration and good idle (it actually idles a little rough, but its got 85k miles).

Don't know what to do....this is an odd one.

Any ideas and comments will be appreciated.
