I just had my catalytic converter replaced in my Outback. When I got my car back there was a lot of rattle and vibration. I took it back to the dealer and they said it was "normal" to have a rattle in Subaru cars after such repairs. They said that they could not tighten the bolts enough on the heat shield. Can you comment on the validity of their claim?

Probably pure BS. I did exhuast and custom bending, and never had these issues, I was carful to shake and test for rattles BEFORE the owners got the car back! ALL rattles are repairable.
