2000 Subaru Outback transmission slipping

Transmission problem
2000 Subaru Outback 4 cyl Automatic 160000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Transmission slips into neutral when I come to a stop. Does not happen every time and is more frequent when stop is sudden. I have changed transmission fluid and filter a few times. Problem seems to be getting more severe.

Any advise appreciated.

Have it scanned , could be a bad solenoid. At that mileage, dont be too surprised if you hear that a rebuild is in order.The filter is attached properly?
