how do i unbolt the torque converter from flywheel to get the transmission out?

Hello,

There should be an inspection plate that should be removed from the front lower part of the bell housing. Once removed you should have access to the bolts. you will need to turn the engine using a socket and ratchet at the crank shaft pulley. Make sure you turn the engine in the correct direction as so not to cause engine damage.
