1998 Subaru Outback neutral safety switch

I need to replace the neutral safety switch and I would like some info on how to do that.

automatic transmissions have an inhibitor and park position switch, no neutral switch. the inhibitor switch is on the right side of transmission while the park position switch is at the base of the shift lever.
