1997 Subaru Outback gas mileage

1997 Subaru Outback All Wheel Drive Automatic 144840 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I am only getting 180-200 miles to a tank of gas. I was told this is not correct for this car. Before I take it to be looked at I am wondering what may be the problem.

that dont sound right! depends on how you drive it.

time for a tune up more then likely.
check tire pressure, change plugs, wires, air filter.

also check the o2 sensor, may be damaged.
