Low beam headlights dim

I have a 2005 subaru legacy sedan. After having low beam lights burn out I changed bulbs which I got from dealer and my low beams were terribly dim. Then I bought xenon bulbs on dealers suggestion and still have terribly dim low beams. They were fine until I changed bulbs. High beams are still fine too. Please help. Nilage is 75000 kms.

Head light sockets very common. Also will cause the fuse to blow
