Hi,

I have a 1984 Subaru GL wagon 1800 w/155k. Driving the other day, the heater and the radio stopped working at the same time. Everything else still works just fine. I am hoping its a fuse, but havent a clue where the fuse box is!

Thanks,

John

That pic might be a little confusing, the fuse for the radio and fan would be just under your hood release handle, covered with a black flip down lid.

You might also want to check into what made the fuse blow if it happens again after replacing it. I Have an 84 DL that the fan went out in not that long ago and I thought it would be a fuse. But After taking apart my blower I found out that the brushes in the moter were completely dissolved. After replacing them it worked like new. Being that your car is the same year if you use your heater a lot that may be what shorted and blew the fuse.

hope this helps :)
