My vehicle is a '96 subaru impreza outback with 133,000 miles. It recently came up with the engine codes saying "MAP Sensor Error" and "Idle control system malfunction". I rebuilt the car after a total late last year. The map sensor was one of the pieces i replaced. Im wondering if they are connected and what would be my best plan of action? Thanks

the most common is a vacuum leak or the idle air control solenoid also check the throttle body and clean it. the iac valve is controlled by the ecm and regulates the idle spped.
