2008 Subaru V6 All Wheel Drive Automatic 1200 miles

I have a brand new 2008 Subaru Tribeca Ltd. The dealer claims there is nothing wrong but I disagree. Though I hope im wrong! Everytime I push on the gas pedal I hear a single click coming from the engine area. It happens a any speed in any gear, but obviously more audible when not moving. Sounds like a piece metal hitting something. It does NOT do it when the car is off. Only while running. Suggestions? Is this normal? I know that 2008 subarus do nto have a gas pedal cable, but it is electronic controlled.
thanx

Go to a differnet dealer and test drive another one and see if it does it. If not, then go back to your guys and let them know

This can be many things but can I ask if it is just one click or does it continue when the engine is running, is could be the valve train of the engine is having an issue. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response. We need to hear the noise so we know which direction to go to help you fix the car. It takes time to upload so please be patient.
