I have a 1995 Subaru Impreza LS, AWD, 1.8L (215 000 KMS). I know I need new wheel bearings, probably all four. It is my understanding that in order to install them properly I need to find a place that has the specialized equipment. One, is that the case? and Two, is it actually posible or suggested to do it at home?

thnks

you can do it at home but you will need a press, the bearings are pressed in. Had mine done at a muffler shop that does all repairs. The bearings are tricky if you don't have the equipment or know how to do them. The rear are more complicated to do.
