There is some noise in my car when parking and starting the engine.We sent it to repair the noise problem.The repairer changed a new catalytic converter for my car.But the noise is still there.I want to know whether it is necessary to change a new catalytic converter to reduce a noise problem for my car.

dependent on what the noise was and when it happened it could have been the convertor, i wouldnt have had it replaced untill i knew it was that though.
