the car shifts smoothly, but when I apply the gas pedal the engine rpm goes way up and the car barely moves. Once rolling it picks up speed. I have been told that this is because the clutch is glazed. I would like an independant oppinion before I get the clutch replaced. If I let up on the gas and push the pedal gently it seems to move faster. This is especially a problem when starting out at a stop in first gear.
