1985 Other Subaru Models idling plug

My car wont idle when I put in the clutch. Whenever I stop I have to restart my car because it wont idle. I fully cleaned out my carborator. I think its the idling plug not connecting but I cant find it. Does anyone know where it might be?

You posted a question about the idling plug in December 2008. I have a 1985 GL with the same problem. Did anyone respond? Did you ever find an answer and did you fix the problem? If so, how? Any assistance/guidance you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks. Djgubbels@yahoo. Com
