Electrical problem
2007 Subaru Legacy All Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles

Sometimes the car will not start. All of the electrical systems; radio, lights, ect. work. There is a faint buzzing sound that seems to be coming from the center of the the engine while the car only has its electrical on. When turning the key all the way there is nothing that signals the engine trying to turn over, its pretty silent. After the buzzing stops the car will start. Sometimes there is no buzzing and the car will start right away. Took it to a dealership and they think it is the Transmission line and would cost 250$. What are your thoughts?

It is your inhibitor switch, on top of your transmission. Another name for Neutral Safety Switch for Subaru. This is a dealer part and I don't have access to dealer system. I don't expect the switch to be ungodly expensive.
