last night i was cleaning the interior. i occasionally pushed lock buttons, causing the alarm to go on and having to turn it off with the key pad.
at the end of my cleaning a little blue light started flashing that is located on the drivers side on the lower left area below the fuse box area.
the fog/parking lights have stayed on and will not go off. i have gone through the manual 3 times and cannot even find the little light i'm referring to.
do you have any suggestions? have i activated an alarm/light system?
being sunday i'm panicked to figure out what is wrong. thank goodness it made it through the night without draining the battery - took it for a little drive to charge the battery.
thank you for your time in this matter. i truly appreciate it.

there is a switch on the top of the steering column that allows the parking lights to stay on when the key is not in the ignition
