1998 Subaru Legacy your thoughts

I am looking to buy a used subaru legacy wagon (2.2L only) and I want to avoid bad years and issues!!
I know about the head gasket probs in the 2.5L but can you suggest the best years between 1994-1998
as far as reliabilty in subaru wagons?? and what issues to look for?
or are volvo wagons more reliable?

subaru all the way over volvo. they are very problem free vehicles.

at 151,000 miles then i would just say that if it was going to ahve a headgasket issue it would be here by now.
