engine has not been running for one year.
changed oil.
started engine but experiencing white smoke especially on accelaration.

If you are certain it is not condensation, white smoke from exhaust indicates a coolant leak into the combustion chambers. Normally caused by a cracked headgasket, allowing coolant to leak into engine and burn out exhaust. Check your coolant level and post results. I will follow up.
