Hi i have a 93 subaru legacy 5 speed and i am having a problem with it. It seems to be making a ticking noise when i drive. You can only hear the noise when you are driving and stepping on the gas. The noise goes away if you let go of the gas peddal. It wont make the noise if the car is parked or if the engine is being reved. It only makes when it drive. What could this problem be? thanks.

It could be an exhaust leak. Maybe a manifold gasket.
