1992 Subaru Legacy timing belt and or pulleys

heard pulley noise for 2 days but ran fine timing belt broke replaced belt ran fine for short period of time smelled belt burning then belt tore up . all pulleys seem to spin freely by hand. how can i determine which pulley is causing this.thank you!

I would check the idler pulley ,adjuster and water pump
