how do I change out the valve cover gasket?

Hi cbruce873, Thank you for the donation. To replace the valve cover gasket, you need to remove any items that are obstructing the removal of the valve cover, Air hoses, spark plug wire etc. Remove the bolts holding the valve cover and pry cover off, take care not to damage/bend the edges of the valve cover.Item # 20 is the valve cover gasket.

When installing, make sure head section is dry and apply gasket sealants to the curved areas near camholders to prevent leakages.
