Transmission problem
1991 Subaru Legacy 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 84k miles

Auto Transmission problem: Feels like it doesnt shift into OD and accelerates slow as if it stays in one gear. When put in 1st, it feels like the park brake is up of you're riding the brakes.

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

There is not a lot that you can do with this yourself, start with the fluid level check and a scan for any unresolved fault codes, failing any codes to check out, this will have to be tested first hand by a trans specialist to determine the exact cause of this problem.
