Your guidance requested:

Following Subaru factory remanufactured parts put in by dealers:

Transmission 2 years ago
axles 4 years ago
short block 6 months ago (no sensors or catalalytic converter changed)

About 10 days ago a I started hearing a clicking sound when turning right. Dealer suggested change of axles but that it was not urgent. Yesterday on the way back home power to the wheels dropped. Engine revved up, speedometer showed 60mph but actual speed was like 25-30mph. Stopped and got it towed home.

Please suggest remedies.

Thanks

Inspect the drive axles, CV Joints and Boots, also check the vehicle speed sensor
