2002 Subaru Impreza Hearing Noise

I am hearing a high pitch whine/squeal when I have the car in reverse, it goes away as soon as I brake, or put the car into drive. I also hear a similar noise, but not as contstant when I am driving the car too, the noise is coming from the front right wheel area. It doesnt always make the noise while driving, but when it starts it doesn't stop really...

Check the brakes. It may be the brake indicator on the brake pad that is rubbing against the rotor.
