1982 Subaru GL 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 18k miles

My car is losin power and hittin high RPM's while drivin down the road! sometimes it drives good but i lose power when i start going up hill's! do u have any idea what could be going wrong with my car?

When was the clutch replaced? or adjusted?
