I have been noticing when making right-hand turns that the right front wheel makes a loud clanking noise. It sounds like the hub is not locking into place properly (just a guess). This is a full time all wheel drive vehicle and that's why I suspect the hub. Our regular mechanic has said that this is normal, but I've never heard this from other Foresters that I have driven, and I really do not believe that Subaru would make a car that does this normally. Any ideas?

Does it sound like a clicking sound? Does it only do it when you make a sharp turn?
