just wondering how serious of a problem it is to have windshield washer fluid mixed in the engine coolant. After realizing the mistake, I drove the car two blocks to get it home. I plan on having the cooling system flushed and the fluid replaced, but am wondering if I can/should drive the car to the nearest garage or if I should have it towed there.

It will be ok. If only driving a couple of blocks. If you have the cooling system flushed it will be back to normal. Washer fluid wont do any damage to the hoses or other components of the cooling system
