2001 Subaru Forester Gasoline in crankcase oil

Engine Performance problem
2001 Subaru Forester 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 152k miles

Where are the probable ways gasoline can into the crank case oil. I just had some problems with the timing and they said they drained out 6 QTS of oil . They said it was passing thru the rings , and i can not belive that. The car has been running good and there is no exaust smoke. THANK YOU , ED

leaking injector will cause that but you will get a misfire code
or hard start
