When should the Drive Belt be replaced? Subaru told be it needed to be replace at 55,000 mi (90,000 km) and it cost me about $1,000 at the time. My Forester is now at the 110,000 mi (180,000km) mark and Subaru wants to replace it again.

Hi:
Are you refering to the accessory drive belt or the timing belt? If timing, refer to the owner's manual for scheduled maintenance.

I am not sure the old invoice just says Drive Belt.

Hi:
How much did they charge for it? I should be able to figure it out by price.
