Hi,

I'm not sure I understand. Are you referring to a secondary fuel tank? In the US, these vehicles didn't come with one. Let me know if that is what you are referring to. I believe in other countries, the vehicle was equipped with a sub fuel tank and pump. I have a feeling that is what you are referring to.

Let me know. Also, if possible, the tank should be in the rear under the vehicle near the spare tire. See if you can locate it. If you can, check to see if there is power to the wiring to the switch.

Here is a link that you may find helpful:

I'll try my best to help. The only problem I have is there are no wiring schematics or repair steps in my manual. Regardless, I'll give it my best shot. LOL

Take care,

Joe

Hi Joe,

the problem is the sub light is on but it is taking fuel out on main tank sub tank. Is there a fuse to control this? Have look under bonnet checked the fuses they are okay. There is a blue box on left hand side no sure what it controls. I am new at this don't want to pay a lot of dollars for some man. To find this problem it's only just started.

Hi,

The hard part for me is I don't have schematics for this vehicle. When you say there is a blue box, that could be a relay. Can you take a pic of it and upload it for me to see?

Hi,

It should be near the spare tire. Is it possible for you to take a pic of the "blue box" you mentioned so I can see if it is a relay?

Thanks,

Joe
