Stumble at start and Tigger a code?

The P0496 code along with the startup stumble makes the EVAP canister purge valve a good place to start testing.

With the purge valve electrically disconnected and the engine off, the valve should be closed and should not allow airflow through it. If you can blow or draw air through the valve when it is not energized, the valve is leaking and should be replaced. Here is the location of the valve so we can be on the same page. Also, I would do a smoke test, this video will help.

Thanks for your advice. I did find out i had a open evap purge valve causing the issue.
