Have you tried soaking the plug overnight in a penetrating oil and then try to get it out?
If so, you can use what is called a breaker bar with the socket. Basically this is a longer bar that will give you more leverage. If this does not work then use what is called a cheater bar on the end of the breaker bar. This is nothing more then a pipe that will fit over the breaker bar to give you even more leverage. Be careful with this because you could damage the threads of the head.
If none of this works then you will need to remove the head and take it to a machine shop.
As for this causing a no start, it is possible but if this is the only cylinder that is effected then it would most likely start and run with a misfire on that cylinder.
Let's get the plug out and replace it then if you still have a no start we can address that.
