STUCK IN PARK?

I CHANGE THE LCM FOR THE PARKING LIGHTS. I WENT TO START THE CAR. THE GEAR SHIFT STUCK IN PARK. I CHECK ALL THE FUSES.FUSES OK

Hello, with fuses okay, the most common cause is the brake shift interlock system not releasing. Can you tell me if the brake light work? If not I would replace the brake light switch. Is the car on a slope? This can cause the parking pawl to get stuck, try rocking the car back and forth. IF all of this does not help you will need to replace the shift interlock solenoid which go out sometimes. Here is the location, it sits on top of the steering column. Check out the images (below). Please let me know what happens.
