Transmission does not shift out of park with foot on brake?

Doesn't come out of park with foot on brake and taillights work?

The first thing we need to do is check the fuses under the hood, B/U LMP #25 and BTSI with the key on to see if they have power. here is a guide to help and the fuse location in the images below:

Both fuses have power. My shifter is on the column.

This leaves the shift lock solenoid being bad.
