A/C not cool and squeaky S belt Had compressor replaced and there is a bolt that holds engine? Transmission? Stripped and another bolt was replaced . They claim they have to break the plastic housing on transmission to fix it ! True?

Good morning,

What is the bolts function?

Any chance of getting a picture of this bolts location? It does not make sense to me that you have to break something to access something.

Ask them to show you the exact issue and take some pictures and upload them to this post.
