Stop start not working

Hey guys. so the start stop has stopped working on my car. It comes up with a message saying:

“Start-stop system: system fault ! Currently unavailable”

Any guessing what this will be please ?

The start stop system can be disabled by a grocery list of things due to safety standards that all manufacturers have to abide by. The most common of these issues that I have dealt with is low battery voltage. Even if you replace your battery you will have to let the vehicle sit overnight before the system resets. Second is if there are any trouble codes in the engine management system, or if there is a transmission fault. This is where I always begin my diagnosis with this system.
