I'm a stumped. The brake fuse blows when stepping on the brake pedal.

Info:
1. The signal lights work fine, no blown fuse.
2. I can disconnect a connector at the fire wall which connects back to the rear lights. When I do this the fuse does not blow when I step on the brake.
3. I unplugged the rear light assemblies so I am sure it is not a problem here.

Need an inspiration

TRY REMOVING ALL OF THE BULBS IN THE REAR

SEE IF IT STILL HAPPENS

INSPECT THE SOCKETS

LOOK FOR MELTAGE ON THE SOCKETS AND THE WIRES TO THEM

INSPECT THE BOTTOMS OF THE BULBS

DISCONNECT THE WHOLE TAIL LIGHT HOUSING, IF YOU GET THIS FAR ALONG

GIMME THE EXACT NOMENCLATURE OF YOUR VEHICLE. ENGINE SIZE. ANY THING SPECIAL, LIKE DAYLIGHT RUNNING LIGHTS (DRL)

I CAN PROBABLY PULL YOU UP A "MITCHELL I" WIRING DIAGRAM FOR THAT SYSTEM (WANNA INSURE I GET YOU THE CORRECT ONE). THIS MIGHT AID IN FURTHER DIAGNOSIS

YOUR TURN
