Just got stopped by the police who told me drivers side brake light is flickering. Is thus because bulbs are bad, or are there electrical issues? I bought the car new and all lights in back are original.

Hi Neiman,

More than likely it is not the bulb. If you want to be sure, you can swap the bulb from one side to the other and see if the issue follows the bulb.

However, I suspect you have a loose connection between the joint connector shown in the wiring diagram and that brake light assembly.

It is also unlikely to be the ground as mentioned above because both side brake lights share a ground so it needs to be something specific to that side.

Lastly, my understanding of a flickering light may be different then what it is actually doing. Does this do it every time you press the brakes? If so, can you get a video of what it is doing so that we can make sure we are on the same page?

Thanks
