Install a aftermarket stereo and everything works just no music or sound.

No sound coming from aftermarket stereo

Depending on the model you pulled out, there is likely a remote amplifier that will need to be bypassed. Check for it behind the right trim panel in the trunk. A different version will find it behind the right front kick panel.
You can also try to run the new stereo with that amp, but expect to find way too much bass. Unlike Ford and GM radios that must be paired with matching amps, all Chrysler radios can be used with or without their remote amps. They don't increase volume or power. They are used strictly for tone conditioning for the shape of the body.
Your new radio will have a wire to turn on a remote amp or power antenna. That is usually a blue wire. The first wire in the original black plug is dark green / red. That is the one that needs the 12 volts from the radio to turn on the amp. It is also needed to turn on the antenna power module.
