Engine is running, car does not need to be moving, vibration does not occur when steering wheel is centered or anywhere left of center. To restate, if the steering wheel is pointing the wheels straight ahead or anywhere left of straight ahead then there is no vibration. However, the instant that I put any pressure on the steering wheel to initiate a right turn the vibration starts. I do not even need for the front wheels to start moving into a right turn. All that is required is for me to put some small amount of pressure on the steering wheel in a clockwise direction from the straight ahead position. From that point through the point of full steering wheel lock in the clockwise direction the vibration is felt. This sure seems like it must be something related to the pump. The fluid is super clean, probably the original fluid from 1997, and probably 24,500 miles on it.

You will need to bleed the air out the power steering system. What I would do is raise the front up, turn the wheel full right and full left with key off. Top off fluid if it goes down. After start up vehicle and do the same thing. Do it ten times each side and make sure no more bubbles.

Normally you get air in system while pushing car and turning the wheel. Hope information helps. Let us know if it works out or you need further assistance.
