High pitch screeching noise coming from dash when turning the steering wheel slightly to the right?

It is tough to tell without a short video of the noise which you can upload with your response. If I had to guess, I would say it sounds like the electronic steering motor inside the rack and pinion is going out which is common.

The EPAS system provides steering assist by replacing the conventional hydraulic valve system with a steering gear equipped with an integrated electrical motor and PSCM. The motor operation and level of steering assist provided is controlled by the PSCM.

Thanks for the video. I have to stand by my original thought that the electronic steering gear is bad and the noise telescopes into the car via the steering column. To be sure let's raise the car in the front and use jack stands. Then start the engine and have a helper steer the car back and forth while your hand is on the steering rack, you should be able to feel the vibration/noise.
