Steering wheel locked?

I can’t get the steering wheel to unlock when I start the car. It is a push to start, and I don’t have any play in the wheel.

Try to grasp the wheel and pull it in the same direction the front wheels are pointed while starting the car. If the car is shut off with the front wheels turned in one direction it will create tension on the wheel and it will not release the steering lock unless you help it.
