Steering wheel is locked after hitting a curb

I hit a curb and now my steering wheel is locked and won’t turn.

How hard did you hit the curb? Did it shut the vehicle off? Are both front wheels straight or at least pointing in the same direction? Does the car start and go into gear?

Can you provide the last 8 of the VIN so I can verify if you have electric power steering or hydraulic?

I suspect this is the rack has failed or is jammed due to the impact but we need to try and confirm this.

Below you will find the process for replacing the rack but we need to try and get some more info but I suspect that is the direction this is going.
