Only when I turn the steering wheel, there is a noise inside the center of the steering wheel that sounds like a loose part. But this only happens when I make any kind of full turn whether left turn right turn or U turn.

Good morning.

There is what is called an upper jacket bearing. When this bearing wears out it will make noise.

What have you done at this point?

Here is a picture of the column. It is in the number one unit at the top where the steering wheel is located.
